Holy Family

Location:
Inverness

Project Description:
New Addition/Renovation

Holy Family Parish in Inverness is one of the largest parishes in the Archdiocese of Chicago. In order to accommodate their ever growing population, the parish underwent the task of constructing a new parish center that would also serve to house the elementary school. One of the unique elements of the project called for the relocation of the existing retention pond located within the footprint of the addition prior to commencing construction. The building was then constructed on over one hundred drilled concrete caissons required due to the poor bearing capacity of the soil. The resulting construction provided much needed space for the parish and a facility in which the entire parish family can enjoy.
