Brookfield Zoo

Location:
Brookfield

Project Description:
Renovation

Since the opening of Brookfield Zoo in 1934, it has been a leading educational institution as well as a top tourism attraction with over 2 million in attendance annually. With an aging infrastructure and multiple buildings in need of renovation and restoration, Brookfield Zoo sought to partner with a construction manager that was familiar with green initiatives that are consistent with the Zoo’s mission as well as experienced with working on an occupied campus. After a complete renovation to the “mission critical” IT building, Brookfield Zoo partnered with Mazur+Son to act as the construction manager for renovations and remodeling of multiple projects. Each undertaking served to return the buildings to their original glory and created an enhanced environment for the animals as well as the guests.

“We partnered with Mazur as our construction manager because of their team approach as well as their renovation experience.”
