Saint Xavier University was seeking a new home for their Visual Arts Department. Following the model successfully used for the college’s new financial aid center, the university purchased a former Baptist Church seeking to turn the facility into a state of the art center for the instruction of photography, painting and computer aided design. The challenges presented to the Mazur+Son construction team to deliver the project within a limited time and budget were all managed successfully.
“Permit delays cut into an already compressed schedule. Because the Arts building was critical to the start of classes, the Mazur team literally worked around the clock to see it to a successful completion.”
