St. Gerald Parish sought to renovate their existing church to create a bright and welcoming worship space for their parishioners. The challenge of this project was the re-orientation of the church, bringing the congregation closer to the altar. The goals of the project were to reconfigure the seating and bring in additional natural light to the nave space, all on a limited budget. The altar was relocated to the building’s north elevation. Roofing structure was removed and two small additions were constructed to emphasize the altar area and create new window openings.
“Mazur and his team share our church’s values: Treat all with respect and run a disciplined, cost-effective project. Thanks to his skill and leadership, St. Gerald’s saved significant money.”
